Pale Blue Dot

I guess all of you are familiar with Youtube.com....on it you can watch endless streams of (home) video's. There is a lot of crap on it, but also the occasional beauty....

Just recent I came across the video of the late Carl Sagan titled "Pale Blue Dot". This is a so called beauty.

The arrow is pointing to a pixel on the image. This pixel is planet Earth! This photo was taken by the Voyager 1 spacecraft in 1990 at a distance of 6.4 billion kilometers. More on this subject click here.

To watch the video click on the picture above and listen to the soft voice of Carl Sagan. His words touched my heart and soul. I hope it will do the same for you.
